I am a Professional tourist guide, licensed by the ministry of tourism of Egypt. A Graduate from the faculty of tourism and working as an Egyptologist-Tourist Guide for a number of international travel agencies. My tours at present are conducted predominately with English speaking groups from around the world Some of the tours conducted include ancient Egyptian sites, Islamic and Coptic sites of interest to visitors in Egypt. With nearly 13 years of experience as a tour director in Egypt. Also lead and conducted tours for specialized groups including, metaphysical groups and classical groups.

An executive board member of the World Federation of Tourist Guides Associations (WFTGA). official area representative for the African continent and the Gulf. A member of the General Tourist Guides Syndicate of Egypt. In 2002 I was the key contact for EGTGS in preparing the bid to host the 2005 convention. As well I am a world area representatives co-coordinator.

Work Experience 1993–2001

A Tourist guide specializing in all the classical areas of interest throughout Egypt.

Leading classical tours and Nile cruises in upper Egypt.
Leading bird watchers groups as well as flora and fauna interest groups.
Leading metaphysical groups from the USA and giving lectures on astronomy and metaphysics.

Working predominantly as a Representative and an Egyptologist travel guide for many international tour operators including: Libra Holiday (Golden joy), Cosmos and Globus international (USA), Hayes and Jarvis (UK), The Imaginative Travelers (UK), Air Tours (UK), Elegant Resort (UK), Africa Adventure (USA) Geckos Tours ( Australia) , National Geographic Society Tours (USA), Travel sphere Holidays.

Also working as a tourist guide for journalists, film crews upon request from the tourism organizations promoting Egypt as a destination. My other work includes working on convention and incentive programs with Destination management companies and various incentives houses inbound.

Safari guide Leading tours through untouched areas at the far end of the oases and the heart of the Egyptian desert. Climbing mountains and visiting virgin forgotten archeological sites of Egypt. Leading special groups to all the 27 protectorates of Egypt. Leading 15 days motor coach tours through the heart of the Egyptian oases and middle Egypt.

1989–1993 Faculty of tourism in Cairo B.A, of Guiding and Archeology Department.

Graduated with A++ honors degree. In-depth studies in history including ancient Egyptian history , Greco-Roman, Byzantine, Christian, Islamic, modern and contemporary aspects of history.

Together with in-depth studies of tourist guiding techniques, geography, archaeology, politics, geology and art.

I have Computer and networking programming diploma from MS certified center

A java programmer and dynamic HTML developer.

Professional IT skills , built and designed many websites and developed many networks

Excellent and Professional knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, 3D MAX studio, and visual basic 6.

I speak fluent English, Arabic and German
